Saudi Arabia began considering 3-day holidays a week, studying the 3-day weekend and system to enhance employees’ creativity. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development is considering extending the Weekend for three days, citing the local newspaper Al -Madinah, in which the ministry has said that it is currently studying the labor system. Let’s say that the United Arab Emirates was the first country in the GCC to change its two-day weekend and system, from January 1, 2022, the UAE government adopted a new four-and-a-half-day work week, from Monday. Thursday’s work day starts at 7.30 am and ends at 3:30 PM while on Friday the work hours are from 7: 30 am to 12 pm.
